This is a full ceremony, which involves the chanting and blessing of Buddhist Monks. A typical ceremony normally takes place in the morning from 09:30 am. until 12:00 noon each day. The format of the ceremony is as follow :
At 09:30 am. The long drum dance procession arrives at the bridal suite to escort the newly married couple to the Thai Sala.
The procession arrives at Nora Lobby Ceremonial Hall (Thai Sala).
The Bridal couple sits side by side at the bridal table at Thai Sala at the pool side in front of the beach.
Buddhist religious ceremonial rites begin with chanting and blessing by 5 monks. At this time holy candles are lit by the bridal couple at Thai Sala.
Sprinkling of holy water by the monks followed by a blessing and the pouring of holy water by the guests and Resort Management and staff. The bridal couple exchange rings. (if applicable)
The bridal couple offer alms to the monks.
The bridal couple offer food to the monks.
The monks take their leave affter lunch. The bridal couple cut the cake and opens a bottle of Champagne. Wedding registration, (if required)
The bridal couple has a private Royal Thai luncheon at Prasuthon Restaurant on the Beach front.

Registration
If guests require wedding registration to be made in Thailand, the local registrar will sign the formalities with the bridal couple in the resort following the ceremony, provided the all pre requisties papers have been arranged by the bridal couple in the country of origin. Please see below for the details.

Registration :
In order to have the marriage legally registered in Thailand, the couple needs to ensure that the following has been properly taken care of :
Both parties need to provide "single status statements" issued by their local registry office in theirs home country, or statement of divorce if that is the case.
Both parties need a statement of marital intend from their local registry office in their home country.
All documentation should be translated and fully approved by an official translator in Bangkok, prior to receiving a stamp of approval by the department of foreign affairs. This will take approximately 1-2 days.
Send the translated papers along with a photocopy of both passports to the resort 3 days prior to the wedding and have the originals available upon your arrival.
Following the ceremony the local registration office will issue a Thai Marrige Certificate. It is advisable to check in advance whether this certificate is legally accpted in the home country of the couple.
Photography
The video which is approximately 60-90 min long, will be handed to the couple the following day (Please note that the video is not edited)
The pictures (4R) along with color negatives will be handed to the couple the following day. (A handmade Thai photo album is also included)
Miscellaneous
In order not cause any offence to the Thai Monks. It is preferable that the wedding couple and guests dress appropriately according to custom and wedding tradition.
